Minneapolis College will join #CCMonth, a monthlong grassroots education and stigma-busting campaign coordinated by the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT). The primary goals of #CCMonth are to improve awareness of the economic, academic and equity advantages of attending community colleges, and to bust longtime stigmas wrongly associated with public two-year colleges.

Random Acts of Kindness

2/13/24

As we navigate through our busy lives, sometimes we need to pause and reflect on the values that make our Minneapolis College community truly exceptional.

Random Acts of Kindness Week is a unique opportunity for us, as a community, to reflect on the values of compassion and empathy, and to experience the positive impact that small gestures can have. This week reminds us: Kindness is a powerful force that strengthens our bonds and creates a more supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.

Kindness Makes a Difference

2/8/24

College can be challenging, but for a single mom with three kids who is determined to get her bachelor’s degree, a full-time class schedule can be particularly difficult.

In May, Australia Ford will graduate from Minneapolis College with an associate of arts in communication studies focused on creative writing, and through Pathways will transfer to Metro State University, where she is enrolled in the journalism program.
