Minneapolis Community and Technical College (Minneapolis College) is a public 2-year college located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Minneapolis College enrolls approximately 13,000 students annually and is an active partner in initiatives designed to strengthen the social, economic and cultural vitality of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. 

Minneapolis College owns and maintains 9 buildings totaling approximately 1,200,000 square feet across 5 city blocks, and including the grounds, the campus covers 21.6 acres of land. Recent expansions include a state-of-the-art Science Center, Nursing Lab, Student Center, and outdoor Plaza.

Facilities Department

The Facilities Department is the key steward of Minneapolis College’s physical resources and each staff member works to provide a safe, comfortable, and sustainable environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We plan, design, construct, operate and maintain our buildings and grounds with a commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

As an integral part of the campus community, we strive to carry out our duties with pride and professionalism, and we work to support the college's Mission to provide access to the transformative power of education in a diverse and dynamic downtown environment.
