The Minneapolis College Admissions Department is here to support you.

Admissions team members can help you learn about our programs, and help you choose courses and register for your first semester.

Drop in online or in person during drop-in hours, or schedule an appointment. A warm and welcoming admissions team member will look forward to working with you.  We are excited to help you start your journey at Minneapolis College.

Special Virtual Drop-In Advising Hours

Drop-In Admissions Advising Hours (in person in T.2800)*

Please note: During busy registration periods, the Office of Admissions may need to pause drop-in advising depending on staff availability and waiting times. To ensure you get the support you need, we strongly encourage incoming students to attend a 1Stop enrollment event whenever possible. These events are a great way to get personalized advising and prepare for a successful start to the semester!

  • Monday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Important Drop-In Advising Announcements

  • April 8: The Office of Admissions will close for Drop-In Advising at 11:30 a.m. to prepare for our 1Stop Enrollment Event, starting at 1:00 p.m. 
  • April 16: The Office of Admissions will open for Drop-In Advising at 1:00 p.m.
  • April 21: The Office of Admissions will close at 11:30 a.m. to prepare for our Spring Open House.
  • April 24: The Office of Admissions will be closed for Drop-In Advising
  • April 30: The Office of Admissions will be closed for Drop-In Advising, we encourage students to attend our 1Stop Enrollment Event, starting at 10:00 a.m.
  • May 8: The Office of Admissions will be closed for Drop-In Advising between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
  • May 27: The Office of Admissions will close for Drop-In Advising at 11:30 a.m. to prepare for our 1Stop Enrollment Event, starting at 1:00 p.m.
