Veterans and their dependents using veterans education funding follow the same admissions process as all students attending Minneapolis College.

- Federal Tuition Assistance Students will need to contact their ESO, military counselor, or branch of service prior to enrollment. Assistance with this process can be found at the above Point of Contact.

- Veterans School Certifying Official: Jeff Snyder – VA trained and approved School Certifying Official; Approved resource for updating TA portals; Designated Point of Contact for DoD MoU; Located in the Veterans Welcome Center (T.2230).
- Financial Aid – Additional Support
Financial Aid Advisors are located in T.2100; walk-in appointments are available. Financial Aid Advisors receive training on Financial Aid during onboarding by completing the training provided by FSA Training, MFAA, NASFAA, along with supplemental training when changes in law or policy occur. Training is conducted by Minneapolis College’s Financial Aid Director. - Academic Advising – Additional Support: Academic Advisors
Academic Advisors are located in T.2500; walk-in appointments are available. Academic advisors are trained on college policy, course transferology, and program requirements for our academic programs. Each program has an advisor assigned to specialize on the requirements, and all advisors conduct monthly ongoing training.
