Veteran Friendly Values
“Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is united to bring Service members all the way home.”
Minneapolis Community and Technical College is proud to be recognized as a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon (BTYR) company. As a college, we have made a commitment to support student and employee veterans, Servicemembers and military families within our organization.
BTYR is a statewide initiative to recognize communities that demonstrate a commitment to U.S. military Servicemembers and their families by connecting them to community support, training, services and resources. The steering committee (which includes staff, faculty and students) continues its work to ensure that Minneapolis College can educate and bring awareness and resources to our military and to the Minneapolis College community.
If you are interested in serving on this committee, please our Veterans Coordinator, Al Ramos.
