This cloud-based technology will streamline enterprise-wide business processes across the Minnesota State system. We have implemented the finance and HR modules and are now starting the project's student services phase.

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) announced that 13 organizations, colleges and universities, and school districts were awarded more than $2.3 million in Grow Your Own Early Childhood and Family Educator Grants to support those pursuing degrees and credentials to serve as early childhood and family educators.

The Graphic Design and Web Design programs provide hands-on experiences from knowledgeable instructors focused on preparing students for exciting careers that explore creativity and technology. Partnerships enhance the learning within these programs and create important connections between students and the design community.
A long tradition at Minneapolis College is offering transformative research opportunities focusing across disciplines within its STEM programming. Research opportunities not only prepare students for transfer to four-year universities, they support building strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills, boosting students’ confidence and awareness through experiential learning, preparing them for future academic work and lifelong careers.
Attracted to the bright lights and big opportunities he thought were available at what he describes as a “monster university,” Justin Houle enrolled at the University of Minnesota directly out of high school. He quickly recognized he felt more like a number than an individual and knew it wasn’t the right fit for him.
The Minnesota Office of Higher Education awarded $291,000 in Intervention for College Attendance Program - Formerly Incarcerated Students (ICAP FIS) grants – a first-time grant opportunity – to four institutions and community-based organizations to provide support services to students who have formerly been incarcerated.
On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse moved across North America passing over the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The breathtaking site contributed to millions of people traveling to parts of the world where they could view the eclipse in its totality.
Packed in a car with her boyfriend and his family, seated in the back seat with his two younger siblings, Minneapolis College student Raven Holm drove 10 hours from Minneapolis to the small town of Effingham in Southern Illinois to view the eclipse.
The Minnesota Book Awards is a program of The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library as the Minnesota Center for the Book.
