  • Is He Dead?
    Written by Mark Twain, adapted by David Ives and directed by Brian Grandison. The play focuses on a fictional version of the great French painter, Jean-François Millet, who, with the help of his colleagues, stages his death in order to increase the value of his paintings, and afterwards dresses as a woman to keep his secret safe.

  • Collaborations Concert
    With its coffee-house atmosphere and its eclectic mix of pop, jazz, blues, folk, and world music, the Music Collaborations Concert is a must-see.

    The event joins Minneapolis College music faculty and students in a wide variety of musical offerings and is MC'd by Minneapolis College Music Faculty members Sarah M. Greer and Joel Sundseth. Come to be inspired and entertained.

    Minneapolis College Photo & Motion Show! Celebrating this year’s class of newly minted Photo and Video professionals.

    This annual event showcases the music and accomplishments of Minneapolis College's applied music students and features a broad range of styles from contemporary to classical and jazz to world music.
    This event is co-sponsored by the Minneapolis College Music Department and the School of Design and the Arts.

  • AFA Portfolio Show
    Show Name: From Scratch: Minneapolis College AFA Portfolio Show
    This annual event showcases the visual art work of our Associate of Fine Art graduates at Minneapolis College. The show will be up in the Fine Arts building lobby and throughout the second floor display spaces. There will also be a small group show installed in the T building on the second floor by the elevators. The students will be showing culminating works in all artistic media.

  • Spring Faculty Recital
    Members of our music faculty are experienced performers, who sing and play in a variety of styles from jazz and blues to classical and folk. This spectrum of music traditions creates an eclectic and engaging event.

  • GRPH & WEBI Portfolio Receptions (Zoom)
    These annual virtual events showcases the design and accomplishments of Minneapolis College's graphic design and web design students. Please tune in, as students present their design portfolio work and their mission as a designer to the public for the very first time.

  • Spring Choir Concert
    Minneapolis Community and Technical College will present a Spring Choral Concert featuring the Minneapolis College Choir.
    The concert, directed by Elizabeth Pauly and accompanied by Christopher Wolter and Eric Espinoza, will feature the choirs’ characteristic blend of art music with folk and traditional music from across the globe. From Melanie DeMore’s uplifting Blessed Be to B.E. Boykin’s moving Stardust, this concert is not to be missed. Joining the choir will be percussionist Eric Espinoza. Children are welcome.

    We will be premiering 9 amazing short films made by Minneapolis College Cinema students. These films depict everything from benevolent burglars, troubled ASMR artists, dining rooms furnished with black holes, and a medical miracle that will have you seeing double!!!

    This event is an opportunity to celebrate and mingle with Spring '23 Graduates and current students can connect with Design Alumni!  Pizza & lemonade will be served.

    This years fashion Show “A Revival of Expression” is presenting students first apparel collection and showcasing the outcomes of the apparel technologies program
