Minneapolis College recently launched its own Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaign, led by a group of over 10 students, faculty and staff members from across campus.

The goal of this group is to ensure Minneapolis College students understand the voting process and are fully prepared to participate, if eligible, in the upcoming elections.

This group meets weekly and is working hard to plan events centered around increasing knowledge related to elections, ensuring all students know important dates, definitions, processes and how to make sure their voice is heard.

“Voting is a voice. Taking the time to vote is advocating for yourself,” said Key Rose, a member of the Minneapolis College GOTV campaign team, “it’s choosing the right person to benefit your community.”

Join “POPCORN & POLITICS,” an exciting weekly conversation series.
