As part of Minneapolis College’s aspiration of becoming an Anti-Racist institution, employees are expected to demonstrate an ongoing understanding of cultural fluency, incorporate culturally responsive practices, and actively engage in anti-racism Professional Development learning opportunities. Campus employees are provided a minimum of 40 professional development hours each year, of which 20 have been designated towards Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. 

The Equity and Inclusion Division offers engagement opportunities through our E&I Learning Series. Learning Series topics include but not limited to:

  • Combating Bias
  • Microaggressions
  • Brave Space
  • Anti-Racism
  • Culturally Relevant Advising and Customer Service Training
  • Building Capacity for Inclusive Spaces
  • Intercultural Development Inventory Coaching
