First TIME (INCOMING) Minneapolis College Students

Are you planning to begin your time at Minneapolis College during spring (January) 2026 semester or later? We encourage you to complete the Student Checklist and meet with a first-term advisor through the opportunities listed on the Contact Admissions webpage.

Current & Returning Minneapolis College Students

A strong partnership with an academic advisor will help you to navigate the college, understand program requirements and develop your education plan.  We are here to get you to get you there!

Academic Advising Appointments: Appointments are scheduled through Navigate and are a great opportunity to meet to discuss and create a plan to fulfill your academic goals at Minneapolis College and beyond! If you are unable to find an appointment time that works with your schedule, please come to Drop-In Advising (hours listed below).

Drop-In Advising (T.2500): No appointment needed! Meet with an academic advisor to ask questions about your next steps at Minneapolis College. Drop-In Advising is first come, first served for quick 10 minute connections.  

Fall 2025 Semester

  • Monday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 12 - 4 p.m.
  • Thursday: 12 - 4 p.m.
  • Friday: Appointments Only
    Note: Drop-In Advising will be available on Friday, 9/5 from 12 - 4 p.m. for assistance with Late Registration.
