As we near the end of the academic year, I am reminded about the importance of commencement. For our graduates, this ceremony represents the culmination of their hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. It is a momentous occasion they will remember for the rest of their lives, and it marks the beginning of a new chapter in their journeys.

Commencement is not just important to our graduates. It serves as an opportunity for us to come together as a community and celebrate their achievements. The end of the academic year marks a time of transition and change for all of us. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the many ways we have grown and learned together. Whether through new initiatives, collaborative projects, or simply the daily interactions that make up our work, we have continued to build a strong and vibrant community dedicated to excellence and innovation.

As we prepare to celebrate the graduation of our students, I am filled with a sense of pride and joy. Their success is a testament to your tireless efforts in providing them with the guidance, resources, and support they needed to reach this milestone. Let’s take this time to reflect on the collective impact we’ve had on these students' lives. To quote Mindy Kaling: “Understand that one day you will have the power to make a difference, so use it well.”

Thank you all for making a difference in the lives of our students. I hope you will celebrate with me during Grad Fest and on May 12, at our first in-person commencement since 2019.

Congratulations to our graduating class!
