Ways We Can Partner with You
Career Services partners with faculty and staff to support career development and employment resources both inside and outside the classroom. Our services include career development and employment presentations, assignments, extra credit offerings, and extracurricular support, and employer engagement opportunities. Click through the drop downs below to learn more about how we can partner with you!
Career Services Presentations
We facilitate a variety of presentations that help prepare students for their future careers. Topics include overview of services, career exploration, resume development, interviewing, internship navigation, networking, and more.
Assignment/Extra Credit/Extracurricular Support
Help your students get ahead by connecting a class assignment, extra credit offering, or extracurricular support to a service that Career Services offers! Examples of an assignment, extra credit offering, or extracurricular support: completing a career exploration appointment, attending a career fair, or creating a tailored resume. Work with us to design an assignment, extra credit offering, or extracurricular support that fits your program and schedule.
Employer Engagement
Help students explore career paths and connect with employer partners through a variety of engagement opportunities:
- Event and Job Opportunities: Designed to connect students directly with employer offering opportunities through the job bank and on-campus events
- Bring industry into program offerings: Invite professionals to share their expertise through workshops or panel discussions. These sessions offer students valuable insights into industry trends and expectations
- Organize an industry tour: Take students on a site visit to a local organization. These tours provide a behind the scenes look at the workplace environments and career possibilities
To explore partnership opportunities, we encourage you to attend one of our program events- like the IT Career Day, held every semester. This event features:
- A panel of industry experts discussing current trends and offering career advice
- A career fair where students can network with local companies and learn about job and internship opportunities
