Join LUCHA in celebrating Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)!
Take part in this fiesta that honors the deceased on Thursday, October 30, 3–5 p.m. in T.1400.
Hear from students and employees who observe the traditions of Día de los Muertos, and engage in activities and share community artwork.
Ofrendas (altars decorated with offerings to honor and welcome the souls of the deceased) and alebrijes (whimsical Mexican spirit animal sculptures of fantastical creatures) made by campus community members will be showcased.
Stop by the ofrenda display on the 2nd floor of T Building, from Monday, October 27 through Friday, November 7.
