The Honoring the Women of Wounded Knee ’73 Exhibit is back!
Join the American Indian Success (AIS) program in honoring the Women of Wounded Knee ’73. AIS offers this display to highlight and uplift the voices of Native/Indigenous women.

The exhibit will be on view November 14–27, in the space on the 2nd floor of T (near the elevators and the skyway to Kopp)

This traveling exhibit is offered by the Warrior Women Project. The exhibit provides a different approach to understanding the events of Wounded Knee ’73. Visitors hear first-hand from women who were on the ground during the occupation and organizing behind the scenes. The exhibit is built from decades of oral history interviews, forming a rich and multi-faceted experience that sheds light on the often-overlooked narratives of Indigenous women. These hidden stories are shared to honor the experiences, struggles, and resilience of these women.
