E and I and Human Resources are collaborating to host professional development sessions for employees that will explore topics of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism through facilitated dialogues and guest presenters every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 2–3 p.m.

On: Tuesday, September 17, 2–3 p.m. in L.3100:

The topic: Courageous Conversations: Why Discomfort Matters. This session will explore elements of courageous conversations and the role experiencing discomfort plays in one’s growth process.

We hope employees will engage in this important topic!

Note: All employees are provided 40 hours of professional development, with 20 hours allocated to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism. Employees are able to attend these sessions as part of their regular working hours. Please connect with your supervisor prior to attending to ensure business needs are met in your absence.
