Smoke-Free Campus
Part 1: Purpose
Minneapolis College declares all campus buildings to be smoke-free in accordance with Minnesota State law. Smoking outside of college buildings is allowed only in designated smoking areas.
Part 2: Clarifications on Usage
This policy prohibits the use of smoking/smokeless tobacco and all vapor-smoking products on college property outside of the designated smoking areas.
The use of marijuana/cannabis products is prohibited on all College property.
The use of hookas/water pipes is prohibited on all College property.
Sanctions for violating this policy may include fines and/or College disciplinary actions.
