Teach Together Minnesota! is a free, virtual conference designed to bring together educators from across Minnesota to have discussions with colleagues in their field of study grounded in cultural fluency and culturally relevant pedagogies.

Registration is open and the event will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Miki Huntington, a member of the Political Science Faculty at Minneapolis College, has participated in the conference for two years.

“This event offers a great virtual forum for connection across our system,” she said. “It's an opportunity for us to learn from and with one another as we work toward Equity 2030 to better serve our students and campus communities!”

Teach Together Minnesota! will feature a keynote speaker, student panel, faculty and administrator plenary session, and facilitated discipline discussions. Register by May 13, 2022 to receive a free digital copy of Reading, Writing, and Racism by Bree Picower, which will help inform the facilitated discipline discussions during the conference.

Minnesota State employees can also join a 12-week discipline-specific faculty learning community and receive .5 RCE (release credit equivalency) compensation.

This conference is open to anyone in Minnesota that supports student learning, whether you are a colleague at a K-12 school or a public or private college or university.
