Whether you are an individual learner, an employer seeking customized skill development for your team, or a community organization whose mission includes employee training, we offer a diverse range of classes in Arts & Culture, Business & Leadership, Computers & Technology, Trades & Industry and Health & Human Services at our convenient downtown Minneapolis location.

Individual Learning

Whether your interest is to enhance your skills with CEUs, pursue a career change, or explore your creativity and the world around you, you’ll find learning opportunities abound to help meet your individualized goals through Minneapolis College’s Continuing Education.

This Spring, explore one of our 32 new courses, including Japanese Culture, PMP Test Prep, Virtual Reality, Bicycle Fitting and Trauma Informed Care.

We offer day, evening and weekend courses, along with a variety of Certifications and Test Preparations, as well as short-term Certificate Programs, such as our new Herbal Apothecary series taught by the College’s award-winning Herbal Studies instructor, Erica Fargione. Many of these programs are WIOA-certified. Ask your local Workforce Center about funding!

Workforce Development

Minneapolis College’s Workforce Development can provide affordable training solutions to meet the specific needs of your organization. Online, on-site, on-campus or hybrid training options are available. Whether your employees need a refresher on a certain skill set or whether you need training on a new process, we can work with you to deliver a tailor-made solution. Our knowledgeable instructors with years of industry experience can train jobseekers for a new career or sharpen the skills of existing employees.

Registration for spring classes is available now!  Be sure to check with your supervisor or HR department to see if you are eligible for continuing education benefits or tuition reimbursement to pay for your classes.
