Join the Bike Collective along with some of the finest in the Minneapolis cycling community for the “Wheels in Motion” Bike Expo. 

The event will include vendors, bike repair and safety demonstrations, yummy food, and at 2 p.m. a keynote address by Triple Crown cyclist Alexandera Houchin. Check it out!

Wednesday, March 27 at 1–3:30 p.m. on the 1st floor of Helland: tabling in the lobby, food in the cafe, and keynote speaker in the multi-purpose room.

The partnership and sponsorship of AIS (the American Indian Success Program) makes it possible to have Alexandera Houchin on campus to share her story.

Alexandera Houchin Bio

Alexandera is a citizen of the Fond du Lac Band of the Lake Superior Anishinaabe, and calls Cloquet, Minnesota home. She’s carved out a place in ultra-endurance bike racing, most recently completing the Triple Crown Challenge—an arduous endeavor that spans more than 4,000 miles in a single season of racing— in 2023. She’s a graduate of the Native Nation Rebuilders Program (Cohort 12) and serves on several boards including Northland Foundation's Maada’ooking board. She has set and still holds several women’s records across bikepack ultra-racing.
