In today’s shifting social and political landscape, the urgency to advance racial equity in higher education has never been greater. Institutions are confronting growing challenges to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts—but together, we can rise to this moment with purpose, commitment, and action.
Equity and Inclusion in partnership with the Minnesota Education Equity Partnership (MnEEP) invites everyone to the
College Race Equity Advocacy Advisory Council (CREAAC) February Regional Convening, Uniting for Race Equity: Turning Challenges Into Action.
Through critical conversations and collaborative problem-solving, we’ll explore pathways to navigate these complex challenges as we reimagine and re-commit to building higher-ed institutions where inclusion, belonging, and racial equity are fundamental to every student’s experience.
These interactive sessions will go beyond identifying challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to share effective practices, develop actionable tools and strategies, and forge meaningful connections that enhance our collective ability to serve Minnesota’s People of Color and Indigenous (POCI) students with equity and impact.
Join us to build a higher education system that honors the needs and aspirations of POCI students and creates a more just, equitable future for all Minnesotans.
