Tru Pettigrew Bio:

Tru Pettigrew is Chief Impact Officer for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Pettigrew is entering his third season with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx. He takes great pride in serving as the organization’s first Chief Impact Officer. 

In his role as CIO, Pettigrew oversees all community impact and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. He is also responsible for setting the strategic vision across all four franchises, the Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Lynx, Iowa Wolves, and T-Wolves Gaming.

From moderating internal community conversations with staff, to facilitating monthly meetings with DEI leaders across the NBA, to hosting gatherings of corporate and community leaders throughout the Twin Cities, Tru leads and supports community impact and DEI efforts for the Timberwolves and Lynx, the NBA, as well as the greater communities served by each.
