Nominate an Instructor for the Outstanding Educator Award!

Each year, the Minnesota State Board of Trustees recognizes outstanding faculty in the system through its Awards for Excellence program. The first step in this process is to gather local nominations of Minneapolis College faculty for the award of Outstanding Educator.

All are invited to nominate a Minneapolis College instructor who you feel should be considered for this award. The deadline for nominations is Thursday, April 17 at 11:59 p.m.

To be eligible for the award, faculty must:

• Have at least three (3) years of full-time equivalent teaching service at Minneapolis College by the end of the Spring 2025 semester and still be teaching at Minneapolis College in Academic Year 2025-2026.
• Not have already received the Board of Trustees system-wide Educator of the Year award.
