MNCHEP Open Forums for Employees
Minneapolis College received a $5 million Ascendium grant in February 2025 to launch MNCHEP, a statewide consortium expanding higher education access for justice-impacted students. In partnership with the Minnesota Department of Corrections, Office of Higher Education, DEED, and regional colleges and universities, MNCHEP will support students from pre-admission through graduation and reentry. The Executive Director will lead the initiative, serving on the Academic Affairs leadership team and reporting to Vice President of Academic Affairs Gail O’Kane.
The Academic Affairs Leadership Team invites faculty and staff to attend the Open Forums for the Minnesota Center for Higher Education in Prison (MNCHEP) Executive Director position. An hour-long Open Forum will be hosted for each candidate.
