Students, faculty, staff, and friends are invited on campus for Juneteenth, the newest national holiday, a celebration of African American emancipation on Wednesday, June 14, noon-2 p.m. in T.1400.

This community-wide Juneteenth event will include live jazz music performed by Kenne Thomas and Lifeforce, lunch catered by Tiffin Man, and a presentation featuring activist, film maker, producer, and community organizer Lee H. Jordan, sharing the what, why and how of Juneteenth.
This event is hosted by the MLK Day Committee, AME (African American Empowerment) and the Office of Student Life.
