Digital Learning Program

The Digital Learning Program at Minneapolis College

The Digital Learning Program equips students with the technology to help them achieve success while taking classes at Minneapolis College. The Digital Learning program offers a fully configured and supported checkout Windows laptop and free internet resource to those who qualify. The program ensures Minneapolis College students have secure, reliable, and supportable technology 24/7.

Information technology is integrated into the student's social and learning experience. Starting in Spring 2022, we will offer checkout devices for eligible students.

  • Secure, reliable and supported Windows laptop
  • Internet services
  • Access to Remote Labs with program specific software
  • Providing an equitable learning environment and experience

Providing students the opportunity to checkout a laptop and access to free internet allows them to use the technology without the financial investment while they are students.

The Digital Learning Program request form is now available. You must be a currently enrolled student to access this form. At this time, any requests for a checkout laptop will be put on a waitlist until additional equipment is available.

Please note that the checkout period is for 1 semester - Fall, Spring, and Summer are each counted as semesters.  If you would like to renew/extend your checkout, you must be registered and taking at least 3-credits for the next semester.  Eligibility verification will take place prior to every semester and again during the semester.  If you are not registered or not taking at least 3 credits, you must return the checkout equipment within 7-days.

The Spring 2022 Digital Learning Request form is now active for currently enrolled students.

Minneapolis College is no longer offering a lease option. All previous leases will continue until the devices are paid in full or returned.
