This comprehensive program covers essential concepts of basic human needs and the health/illness continuum, alongside fundamental nursing skills tailored for long-term care and home care settings. Through hands-on training in our simulated lab, you'll engage in demonstrations and role-playing to master practical skills.

Our program schedule is tailored for your convenience, offering classes exclusively on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), allowing you to balance your education with personal commitments. This is a hybrid program which includes both online and in-person coursework.

This course meets the objectives of the Federal Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) and Minnesota Department of Health Requirements as detailed for educating the nursing assistant. Upon completion, you'll be eligible for the Minnesota Department of Health Nursing Assistant Registry exam.
