Cyber Security and Defense
Minneapolis College's Cyber Security and Defense degree provides a comprehensive, industry-focused training on information technology security. This fast-paced program uses state-of-the-art technology and prepares you for success through training in how to secure computers, systems, and networks, defend against cyber-attacks, and maintain secure systems. Instructors with business and industry experience guide you through this program that will give you the skills needed to embark on a career in the vitally important and high-demand cyber security field.

Many courses are offered during the day and evening. Classes are taught in varied formats: classroom, online and hybrid (combines classroom and online). Core and mandatory courses are offered every semester.
Computer learning labs feature small class sizes and are designed for individual work on systems and small group projects.
Opportunities to participate in student life activities such as the Computer, Cyber Security, Computer Software Support, and Women in Technology clubs; participate in inter-collegiate competitions; attend industry events; and have internship opportunities.
