Part 1: Policy Statement

Minneapolis College declares all campus buildings to be smoke free in accordance with Minnesota State law. Smoking outside of campus buildings is allowed only in designated smoking areas.

Part 2: Definitions and Examples

This policy prohibits the use of smoking/smokeless tobacco or marijuana/cannabis products, and all vapor smoking products on College property outside of the designated smoking areas.

The use of hookas/water pipes is prohibited on all College property.

Sanctions for violating this policy may include fines and/or College disciplinary actions.
