Minnesota State Colleges and Universities uses an eTranscript process so students do not have to send and pay for official transcripts to be sent from school to school. If you have applied and been accepted to the receiving institution you just need to contact your college registrar or records office.
If you attended only the former Minneapolis Technical College prior to 1996, this option is not available.
Holds for outstanding balances and Academic Suspension can not be downloaded by the receiving institution. Check your eServices dashboard to see if any holds prevent the transmission of your transcripts.
Historic Records at or maintained by Minneapolis College cannot be retrieved electronically by other Minnesota State institutions. For historic transcripts prior to 1996, you must place an order for these archived records.
Transcript fees will apply.
Minneapolis Community and Technical College was created in 1996 when Minneapolis Community College merged with Minneapolis Technical College.

All coursework from the pre-merge Minneapolis Technical College, Minneapolis Technical Institute, and Minneapolis Area Vocational Technical Institute is recorded on archived paper transcripts and/or microfilm and may take two to three weeks to retrieve.
Certain courses from Minneapolis Area Vocational and Minneapolis Technical Institute are recorded in clock hours. One semester credit is equal to 36 clock hours.
The fastest, easiest and most efficient way to request your official transcript is by placing an online order. You can request either an official transcript that is delivered electronically or a paper transcript that is sent by mail.
Minneapolis College has authorized Parchment, a digital credentials service, to provide online ordering to current and former Minneapolis College students.
If you do not have a StarID, you can still order a transcript but you will have to create a Parchment account. Follow the prompts to specify where, how, and when you would like your transcript sent. Order updates will be emailed to you. You can also check your transcript's order status online.
Your credit card is not charged until Minneapolis College has processed your order and sent your transcript. If you have a financial hold on your account, a transcript cannot be ordered and a notification will be sent. Once you resolve the hold, submit another order.
Electronic transcripts are sent as a secure, certified PDF document and will be considered official as long as it is sent directly from Minneapolis College through the Parchment ordering service and is not altered
Electronic transcript requests are sent within 3-5 business days
A printed copy of an electronic PDF transcript is not official
Make sure to confirm with your recipient that they will accept this format before you place an order
Paper Transcript Delivery by Mail
Cost: \$5 per transcript, plus mailing fee (\$2.50 standard mail or \$25 for Fed Ex Domestic Delivery)
Paper transcripts are mailed within 5 business days
Paper transcripts are official as long as they remain in its original, sealed envelope
Do not open the sealed envelope if you are forwarding your transcript to another institution, employer, or third party
