Campus Hazing Transparency Report

Pursuant to Section 485(f) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1092(f)), Minneapolis College provides a report of hazing misconduct involving student organizations that were found responsible for violating Minneapolis College’s standards of conduct.

The report includes the following information:

  • The name of the involved student organization;
  • A general description of the violation that resulted in a finding of responsibility, including:
    • whether the violation involved the abuse or illegal use of alcohol or drugs,
    • the findings of the institution
    • any sanctions placed on the student organization by the institution
  • The dates on which:
    • The incident was alleged to have occurred
    • The investigation into the incident was initiated
    • The investigation ended with a finding that a hazing violation occurred, and
    • The institution provided notice to the student organization that the incident resulted in a hazing violation

Reports of hazing that did not result in a finding of responsibility are not included. The report does not contain any personally identifiable information (PII).

Annual statistics on hazing are available in the College’s Annual Fire Safety and Security Report. Please note that hazing statistics will first be collected for the 2025 calendar year and will be included in the 2026 report. Hazing statistics include incident reports that meet the federal definition of hazing in Section 485(f)(6)(A) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C 1092(f)(6)(A)). Such statistics do not reflect actual findings of hazing behavior, which are included in the Campus Hazing Transparency Report.

Reporting Period: July 1, 2025 – December 1, 2025

No student organizations were found responsible for violations of Minneapolis College's hazing policy.
