In order for Minneapolis College students to be successful in a new career, they must be prepared and ready to hit the road with hands-on industry experience with state-of-the-art technology, equipment, tools and labs. We do this with the help from corporations, organizations and businesses that help us prepare their new hires in occupational areas with high employer need.
Thanks to the Leveraged Equipment Fund, a special appropriation from Minnesota’s Legislature, Minneapolis College can “leverage” cash and equipment donations with matching funds from the State. This helps us build long-term industry partnerships that support student learning and college affordability.
Securing matched cash donations and equipment for instructional programs allows our Minneapolis College graduates to gain a competitive edge and the skills needed to excel in high-demand/high-wage careers.
