Widgets

Minneapolis College strives to promote and celebrate the cultural diversity of our campus community. We believe that it is important to acknowledge the diversity of the cultural and religious identities of our members. One way to do this is by providing access to information about inclusive observances.

This resource recognizes and celebrates diverse cultural, religious, and social events throughout the year. It assists in providing visibility to members of our campus community through acknowledging various practices and traditions.

Whether you personally have a religious affiliation or not, we encourage you to utilize this resource as you are scheduling exams, programs, and events throughout the academic year. Awareness of observance dates helps to support the success of students and employees, while advancing our efforts of inclusive excellence throughout the campus.

Comments and suggestions for how to improve this resource can be submitted to Equity and Inclusion.

Observances by Month

Students and employees rights to religious accommodations can be found in College Policy 2.07. Student religious accommodations are to be worked out directly between the student and their faculty. Employees will need to arrange accommodations with their supervisor.
