Minneapolis College students have big dreams. Dreams that will land them livable-wage jobs and empower them to contribute to our community in meaningful ways. It all starts with equitable access to high-quality education

But first, many of our students must overcome incredible odds.

Minneapolis College is among the most affordable community and technical colleges in Minnesota. Still, the costs and the barriers of attendance remain big challenges for many. Over 70 percent of students at Minneapolis College identify as low income, first generation and students of color.

Half of all students who drop out or withdraw from college do so because of an unexpected financial emergency. We believe everyone has a right to a better life no matter their race, gender, family economic beginnings or other circumstances. Scholarships, Random Acts of Kindness and Student Support Services at Minneapolis College make the difference. Combined, they empower students to  successfully navigate challenging life events, cover unexpected non-academic expenses and persist on the path to careers in the trades or onto further education.

You have the power, through giving, to help underrepresented students build tomorrow’s vibrant and equitable communities.

Your gift brings tomorrow’s tradespeople, nurses, designers, engineers, artists and community leaders one step closer to achieving their dreams. You have the power to solve issues of affordability and access to higher education through scholarships, Random Acts of Kindness, program support and initiatives that support student success.

Experience the Power of Giving by donating to the Random Acts of Kindness Fund between now and December 31. Gifts will be matched up to $10,000.  Give today!

Support Minneapolis College on Give to the Max Day, November 19.
