Official Transcript
An official transcript is Minneapolis College’s certified statement of your academic record. You can order a paper or electronic file of your official transcript through our online vendor, Parchment.
We recommend that you view your unofficial transcript first to make sure the grades or degrees you need to display have been posted before ordering an official transcript.
Transcripts to Be Sent to Another Minnesota State Institution
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities uses an eTranscript process so students do not have to send and pay for official transcripts to be sent from school to school. If you have applied and been accepted to the receiving institution you just need to contact your college registrar or records office.
If you attended only the former Minneapolis Technical College prior to 1996, this option is not available.
Holds for outstanding balances and Academic Suspension can not be downloaded by the receiving institution. Check your eServices dashboard to see if any holds prevent the transmission of your transcripts.
If you attended Minneapolis Technical College prior to 1996
Historic Records at or maintained by Minneapolis College cannot be retrieved electronically by other Minnesota State institutions. For historic transcripts prior to 1996, you must place an order for these archived records.
Transcript fees will apply.

Request Your Official Transcript Online
The fastest, easiest and most efficient way to request your official transcript is by placing an online order. You can request either an official transcript that is delivered electronically or a paper transcript that is sent by mail.
Minneapolis College has authorized Parchment, a digital credentials service, to provide online ordering to current and former Minneapolis College students.
If you do not have a StarID, you can still order a transcript but you will have to create a Parchment account. Follow the prompts to specify where, how, and when you would like your transcript sent. Order updates will be emailed to you. You can also check your transcript's order status online.
Your credit card is not charged until Minneapolis College has processed your order and sent your transcript. If you have a financial hold on your account, a transcript cannot be ordered and a notification will be sent. Once you resolve the hold, submit another order.
