Students, we're glad you're here! To help you settle in, get to know Minneapolis College, and have some fun, we invite you to join us for Welcome Weeks.
Get a Fall Kickoff Passport and you'll also get FREE stuff! With the passport you'll be entered into random drawings for fun prizes.
- Pick up a Passport at the Student Life Info Desk (2nd floor of Helland Center) or at Welcome Week Tabling (August 24–27 on T Skyway level)
- Return the Kickoff Passport to the Student Life Desk by 4 p.m. on Friday, September 4
WELCOME WEEKS EVENTS
Monday, August 24–Thursday, August 27
8:30 a.m.–1 p.m. on T Skyway level:
- Coffee, treats, and tabling: Student Life, Beacons, Alumni Foundation, Public Safety, Student Resource Center and other campus groups will be on hand.
9 a.m.–1 p.m. in the Fitness Center, B.0100
- The Rec and Wellness Fitness Center is open for the Fall Schedule

- Career Services Open House: Visit the Career Services space and meet their team. Learn about services, upcoming events, and other resources to help you achieve your career and employment goals.

Wednesday, September 2
11 a.m.–1:30 p.m. in T Building, first floor:
- Part-Time Job Fair: Explore employment opportunities
11 a.m.–1:30 p.m. in the Outdoor Plaza (rain location, first floor of Helland Center):
- Connections Fair: Learn about campus resources, join student clubs, engage with community partners, and more
2–4 p.m. in the T Outdoor Lawn:
- Kickoff Carnival: The carnival will include food, music, games, activities, and giveaways to celebrate the beginning of the fall semester. Event sponsored by Student Life and E and I.
Thursday, September 3
4–8 p.m. in T.1400:
"Back To" Dance: Minneapolis College Student Senate invites you to kick off the new semester at the “Back To” Dance! Take a break from classes and join your fellow students for an exciting evening filled with music, dancing, food, and great campus vibes.
The dance is a fun opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with friends, celebrate the beginning of the academic year, and learn more about your Student Senate. Whether you are ready to dance all evening or simply want to stop by, grab some food, and enjoy the atmosphere, everyone is welcome to participate.
Food will be provided while supplies last, so bring your friends and come early for an evening of fun and community.
We can’t wait to celebrate the start of the semester with you—see you there!
