Generosity Creates Opportunity

Dear Donors and Friends,

A heartfelt thank you to our friends and neighbors who continually enrich the student experience at Minneapolis College. Your generosity and partnership help us build a stronger, more connected campus community.

And, thanks to you, our generous donors, the Minneapolis College Foundation awarded 242 scholarships valued at $737,000 dollars in 2025. These scholarships remove barriers to higher education and are based on financial need, academic interest, volunteer experience, or other activities. 

Studies consistently affirm that scholarships play a transformative role in student success. By opening doors to educational opportunities and relieving the weight of financial strain, scholarships allow students to devote their energy and attention to their academic pursuits. Freed from constant financial worry, they are able to fully engage in their studies and take part in extracurricular activities that broaden their experiences, strengthen their skills, and shape them into confident, well-rounded individuals.
