APIDA Community Empowerment (ACE) invites all to a Hmong New Year Celebration rooted in agricultural and family traditions. The theme is “Hmoob Story Cloth,” which is a type of textile art that depicts Hmong history, culture, and traditions through needlework.
November 20, noon–3 p.m. in H.1002, Multipurpose Room
Discover traditional Hmong attire, sample delicious cuisine, enjoy cultural performances, engage in interactive activities that highlight the beauty of Hmong heritage, and hear from Keynote Speaker Sia Her, Executive Director of the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans.
