$2,500 Scholarships Now Available in High-Demand Career Programs

The Minnesota Workforce Development Scholarship is available to all Minneapolis College students who qualify and enroll in one of its high demand occupations.

The scholarship is $2,500 spread over 2 semesters.

Careers at Minneapolis College that are included in the scholarship are:

• Advanced manufacturing
• Health care services
• Information technology
• Early childhood education.

These scholarships were made possible by a $7 million appropriation from the Legislature after a successful pilot program stemming from the 2017 legislative session that initially awarded $1 million in scholarships in the 2018-2019 academic year.
