My Minneapolis College Story 

I started my academic journey at Minneapolis College when I was a young single mom struggling to get by. My first instructor for English composition 101 encouraged me to submit my writing for publication. Thanks to his insight about my potential, it led to a new position and an exciting path for my career. Today I’m an Associate Vice President at a leading research university and have earned four college degrees including a PhD since my time at Minneapolis College. I credit the foundation there for my success today.
