Find internships, along with student employment, part time, and full-time jobs using the Minneapolis College Job Bank.

Here are the steps to activate your job bank account on Handshake (see below)

  1. Activate your Profile
    • Go to https://minneapolis.joinhandshake.com/login
      • Search for Minneapolis College
      • Sign in using your StarID and password
      • Select Student or Alumni to setup an account
      • Set your Privacy Level – Community, Employers, or Private
  2. Upload your resume for employers to review your profile. Before uploading your resume, please consider making a resume development appointment with Career Services staff member to finalize your resume.  Students may schedule resume development appointments on Navigate. Check out the tips on how to upload a new document on Handshake.
  3. Create your profile – Add experience, courses, skills, and professional photo 
    • Review all pre-loaded information is correct from your resume. Contact career.services@minneapolis.edu to correct it, as Handshake is unable to change any of your profile information. 
  4. Search for job opportunities by filtering out companies and jobs in the search area
  5. Follow jobs and employers 
    • This helps to filter out opportunities, as well as receive alerts on job opportunities and when an employer partner is attending one of our events
