Come celebrate culture, creativity, and community together.

APIDA Community Empowerment (ACE) presents Lunar New Year- Year of the Horse. Celebrate Lunar New Year with our campus community! All students and staff are invited to join us for a festive event honoring Lunar New Year traditions through interactive stations including:

  • Chinese calligraphy 
  • Red envelopes
  • Photobooth
  • Hulusi workshop
  • Paper lantern crafts 
Thursday, February 19, 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (see locations below)

Schedule:

  • 11 a.m: Music by Dr. Ning at Hennepin Skyway
  • Noon: Main Event, interactive stations and live background music in T.1400 
  • 12:30 p.m: Learn how to play the Hulusi instrument with Ziyue Tan in T.1200

Year of the Horse is all about energy, freedom, and forward momentum. Saddle up and ride into the Lunar New Year 2026 with ACE.

Presented by ACE in partnership with, Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP), Tiffin Man, 360 Elite Photo Booth, APIDA Cultural Club (ACC) and Ziyue Tan. 

***Tiffin Man is offering a special Lunar New Year bowl (February 16–20): Orange Chicken, Fried Rice, and Eggroll (chicken).***
