Do you love reading, discussing books, and discovering new stories? 


Join the The African American Education Empowerment Program (AME) Book Club and connect with fellow book lovers! Shannon Gibney, English Instructor, will lead this semester's book club discussion. There are ten spots available. RSVP to receive a book. 

Book selection: How to Say Babylon by Safiya Sinclair

There will be two book discussions: 

  • Session 1: Thursday, October 8, 10-11:30 a.m. in H.2650 
    • Prologue–Chapter 14, pp. 1–163
  • Session 2: Tuesday, November 17, 10-11:30 a.m. in H.2650 
    • Chapters 15–29, pp. 164–329
