Employee Career Exploration Week is August 3–7

This weeklong event offers employees ways to learn new skills, explore new directions and take real steps toward career goals.

Sessions are free and open to all State of Minnesota employees. Participation counts as work time. Dive into the schedule and choose the sessions that match individual growth goals.

Monday, August 3

Tuesday, August 4

  • Meeting the Needs of Minnesota’s Evolving Workforce | 11 a.m.–noon | Register

Wednesday, August 5

  1. Influencing and Leading as an Individual Contributor | 11 a.m.–noon | Register
  2. Is Leadership Right for Me? | 3–4 p.m. | Register 

Thursday, August 6

  • Your Strengths, Your Story: Ideas on How to Show Up and Stand Out | 11 a.m.–noon | Register
  • Strength Through Setbacks: Building Self-Reflection and Resilience | 3–4 p.m. | Register 

Friday, August 7

  • Leveraging LinkedIn Learning for Professional Development | 11 a.m.–noon | Register
  • Applying as a Current State Employee | 3–4 p.m. | Register
