Policy 6.06

General Harassment

Minneapolis College prohibits the intentional verbal or physical behavior by any Minneapolis College employee toward another Minneapolis College employee which is not based on race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, disability, martial status, status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, or membership or activity in a local commission, but which has the result of interfering with work performance or creating an intimidating work environment. Any retaliation directed toward a Minneapolis College employee who reports or makes a complaint of general harassment is prohibited.

Complaints of general harassment or retaliation should be submitted to the alleged harassers immediate supervisor or to the nearest administrator with responsibility for the work division of the alleged harasser. Appropriate supervisors and administrators will attempt to resolve allegations, investigate as necessary and take appropriate action.
